   Evan Parker
00.Hi, I'm Evan Parker — a graphic designer passionate about creating thoughtful, visually engaging work that connects people and ideas.

I'm currently a third year student studying Graphic Design at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. Here I’ve developed a strong foundation in design principles such as typography, layout, color theory, form making and design history.

Whether it’s print work, brand identity, digital campaigns, or editorial layouts, I approach each project with curiosity, intent, and a drive to solve problems through design. I believe that through intentional design, designers have the ability to change the world.

My work is rooted in research, guided by strategy, and brought to life through bold visuals and intentional detail. Take a look at some of my recent projects below.

Brief
This exercise was aimed to test my ability to manipulate text and layout to match the chosen subject matter. I chose bridges due to my fascination of architecure and graphic design as a multidisciplinary study and how interwoven the two are.

I explored layouts and type treatment to further understand type and layout. I researched what infastructure matches the type treatment and layouts that worked best.

After integrating the subject matter, I pushed the type treatment and images further. Using line continuation, type treatment and value I was able to achieve spreads that communicate the subject matter.
