Tornado Communication
   Evan Parker
00.Hi, I'm Evan Parker — a graphic designer passionate about creating thoughtful, visually engaging work that connects people and ideas.

I'm currently a third year student studying Graphic Design at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. Here I’ve developed a strong foundation in design principles such as typography, layout, color theory, form making and design history.

Whether it’s print work, brand identity, digital campaigns, or editorial layouts, I approach each project with curiosity, intent, and a drive to solve problems through design. I believe that through intentional design, designers have the ability to change the world.

My work is rooted in research, guided by strategy, and brought to life through bold visuals and intentional detail. Take a look at some of my recent projects below.

Calendar Project
GRA 223

Professor:
Brandon Lin

Brief
The goal of this project is to layout a calendar with the intent to further grow typographically and skills in layouts. This project was largely focused on communication through type treatment.

My calendar was designed to communicate the number, size, strength, duration and destruction of tornados in Wisconsin on specific days.

I designed with constraints to learn and understand designing with restraint.
